Concepts & Application Engineer

As a Concepts & Application Engineer you have deep understanding of our customer’s application and can therefrom derive the requirements in our products. Out of this knowledge on the one hand side you are able to be a central person in the definition of new products. On the other hand side it enables you to provide our customers with the support they require in order to successfully apply our devices.


Circuit Design Engineer

As a Circuit Designer your primary responsibility is to translate product definitions into integrated hardware realizations on schematic level. Since you are the one who exactly knows what is achievable in the semiconductor technology you are using your input is of course also required during the product definition phase. Out of the various simulations you have done for your design you are the one who understands what is going on in the circuit. Therefore part of the job naturally is also passing this knowledge to your colleagues from Component Verification and Test Engineering.


Circuit Layout Engineer

Your job as a layouter is to translate a circuit schematic into a realization on silicon. Using state-of-the-art CAD-tools you have to position all the devices and connect them. Might sound easier than it is: Of course you have to be aware of the parasitics, the effects of time delay on transmission lines and a lot of other effects that aren’t on the schematic but appear in reality. Moreover you are also responsible for doing a number of design rule checks, the proper documentation of your work and the handover of your results to production.


Component Verification Engineer

As a Component Verification Engineer you are the one who takes our device prototypes to the laboratory and puts them to a first test. Through your expertise in the use of modern measurement equipment, your good understanding of electronic circuits and your detailed knowledge of our products you will prove that our devices do what they are expected to do. And, sometimes even more important, you are also the one to find out when our devices do not what they are expected to do. Of course all of this is done in close cooperation with colleagues from all other disciplines.


Test Engineer

Of course we have to make sure that no flawed products reach our customers. As a Test Engineer it’s your task to develop test packages consisting of test hardware and test software that can distinguish perfect devices from problematic ones – within a few seconds of testing time. In order to do this job you need to have deep understanding of the used testing machines, good programming skills, detailed knowledge of analog and digital electronics and, of course, detailed understanding of our products.
