Not just good performance is their goal, but a place at the top. Much
is required: they are ready. 600 participants. Six of them will finish
top.
DICE is among them. With one of its show-case products, the
RF-transceiver chip SMARTi UE, DICE is not only nominated for the
Austrian state award Innovation 2008, but could also gain the most
prominent smart phones manufacturers as customers.
The 6x6mm small SMARTi UE is capable of much more that you might expect
from its humble name: behind the acronym you find more than 6 million
transistors implemented in C11 130nm RF CMOS technology allowing for
data rates of up to 14.4Mbps and enabling forward-looking mobile
communications applications.
The nomination for the Austrian state award Innovation 2008, awarded by
federal minister Mitterlehner, emphasizes the outstanding competence of
